The Hamas Movement has expressed its appreciation to the brave positions announced by the leadership of Yemen’s Ansarullah group and armed forces in support of the Palestinian people, who are facing a genocidal and ethnic cleansing war in the Gaza Strip.
“What our brothers in the Ansarullah Movement and the valiant Yemeni armed forces are doing to support our people and their resistance is a practical translation of the noble Yemeni people’s historical positions in support of Palestine and in defense of our Palestinian people,” Hamas said in a statement on Friday.
Hamas urged the Arab and Muslim nations to pool their efforts to isolate the Israeli occupation regime and support the Palestinian people and their national rights.
In a related context, the Palestinian resistance factions applauded the Ansarullah Movement and the Yemeni armed forces for announcing the start of a new round of escalation against Israeli-linked shipping in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance.
“We watched, with great pride, the major popular marches which the Yemeni masses participated in to reflect their nobility and courage and reaffirm on behalf of all the Arabs and Muslims that the Palestinian question is the central cause of the entire Ummah,” the factions said in a joint statement.
In a recent televised address, the spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces in Sana’a announced that the army had started a fourth phase of escalation against the US and Israel by targeting ships heading to Israeli ports in any area within reach.
