Sada Social has documented 5,450 violations against Palestinian digital and social media content in the first third of 2024.

In a recent report marking the World Press Freedom Day, Sada Social said that these violations included, among other things, loss of date, hacking incidents, violating privacy and spying on digital accounts.

32 percent of these violations were on Instagram, 26 percent on Facebook, 16 percent on WhatsApp, 14 percent on TikTok and 12 percent on X, according to Sada Social.

73 of these violations targeted visual materials (photos and videos) related to the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, Sada Social pointed out.

These social media platforms also contained over 13,000 postings inciting against the Palestinians, and calling for starving and killing them and attacking their West Bank villages and towns.
