Right-wing Israeli security minister Itamar Ben Gvir desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under tight police guard on Thursday morning.
According to local sources, Ben Gvir escorted by police officers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police prevented Muslim worshipers from entering their holy site during Ben Gvir’s tour.
Ben Gvir last visited the contested site in May to protest the recognition of a Palestinian state by three European countries.
He is notorious for inciting extremist Jewish settlers to defile the Mosque.
