The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has welcomed the Pakistani government’s declaration that Israel is an entity committing war crimes, and that its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a terrorist.
In a press statement on Saturday, the Movement said, “We consider this declaration a step on the path of supporting our people, who are subjected to a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing at the hands of the terrorist Zionists, and an expression of the authentic historical positions of the Pakistani people, government, and parties in support of the cause of the topmost Muslim issue.”
It called on all countries to take the necessary positions and steps to isolate and boycott the “fascist occupation entity”, also calling on the Muslim world in particular to make efforts to support and aid the Palestinian people, and to exert pressure by all means to stop the ongoing genocide crime in the Gaza Strip, and to take effective action in support of the rights of the Palestinian people, and to protect Islamic and Christian sanctities, foremost of which is the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, from the tampering of the “fascist settlers”.
The Israeli occupation army has been waging a destructive war on the Gaza Strip since last October 7, resulting in tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, as well as the displacement of two million people and the massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, affecting more than 70% of the buildings, with a strict siege and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis and famine, especially in Gaza City and its north.
