Three Palestinian citizens were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Ahli Hospital in the northern Gaza City on Saturday.
According to Gaza’s civil defense service, an Israeli airstrike targeted a premise adjacent to the laboratory department of the al-Ahli Arab Hospital in northern Gaza City, resulting in at least three deaths and dozens of injuries.
Video footage showed extensive damage to the hospital’s laboratory department, which had been attacked by the Israeli occupation army several times before, most notably on October 17, 2023.
Saturday’s attack on the Ahli Hospital is part of a broader pattern of Israeli attacks on healthcare facilities in Gaza.
The Hamas Movement condemned the Israeli attack on the hospital as “fascist,” calling on the international community and the UN to put an end to Israel’s war crimes and provide protection for civilian facilities in Gaza, especially hospitals.
