Two Palestinian citizens, a man and a woman, were killed during the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) incursion into Tulkarem city on Tuesday.
The ministry of health said that the young man was transferred to Tulkarem Government Hospital while the young woman was transferred to Isra’ Hospital on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tulkarem Government Hospital identified the martyr as 24-year-old Ahmed Majdouba.
The ministry said that ten citizens were wounded in the IOF shooting spree in the city of Tulkarem and were transferred to hospitals.
IOF soldiers stormed a number of suburbs in Tulkarem city and besieged the Thabet Thabet Hospital and all roads leading to the Tulkarem refugee camp on Tuesday morning.
Resistance fighters engaged the raiding IOF soldiers in all areas of incursion, the armed wing of Hamas, al-Qassam Brigades, said.
Local sources said that special forces of the Israeli army infiltrated into the Tulkarem refugee camp and armed clashes erupted after they were detected.
