Gaza’s health ministry has appealed to the international community to take immediate action to know the fate of dozens of its medical workers, who were kidnaped from the Gaza Strip.
In a statement on Saturday, the health ministry said that one of its paramedics called Hamdan Abu Annaba died in an Israeli jail, pointing out that he was kidnaped along with coworkers as he was trying to transport wounded citizens through the Netzarim checkpoint in December 2023.
The ministry pointed out that Abu Annaba was a paramedic working for the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and died on the same day when he was kidnaped by the Israeli occupation army.
