A Palestinian citizen was martyred and another one was injured on Sunday morning in an Israeli airstrike in Beit Hanoun, north of the war-battered Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, an Israeli drone bombed a group of citizens in al-Bura area in the east of Beit Hanoun, killing one of them and injuring another one. The martyr was identified as Hudhayfa al-Masri.
This is the first martyr after the first phase of the ceasefire agreement has come to an end.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation government still refuses to engage in talks over the second phase of the ceasefire agreement and threatens to resume its genocidal war on Gaza.
During the past 42 days, Israeli forces killed over 100 civilians and injured hundreds in gunfire and aerial attacks in Gaza.
