1391 Israeli settlers stormed holy al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem in June according to a report by the Jerusalem Center for Israeli/Palestinian Studies.
The Jerusalem Center said 1391 Israeli settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque in June among whom 50 soldiers two intelligence officers 50 policemen and 272 students.
In June 2016 1282 Israeli settlers stormed the site.
Israeli break-ins at al-Aqsa have seen an upsurge since the start of holy Ramadan. The Israeli forces closed the site before Muslim worshipers and cracked down on the peaceful sit-inners. Dozens of Muslim worshipers have also been banned from Occupied Jerusalem and al-Aqsa.
During the first week of Ramadan 205000 Muslim worshipers managed to perform Friday prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque.
