Israeli police decided to ban 11 Palestinians from entering al-Aqsa Mosque for three-six months after interrogating them on Sunday at al-Qashla detention center in Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli police over the past days have issued dozens of orders preventing Palestinian citizens and Awqaf employees from entering al-Aqsa Mosque for different periods.
The entry bans are basically aimed at paving the way for more settler break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque especially during Jewish holidays.
Israeli police issued three and six-month entry bans against the Awqaf employees Raed Zaghir Husam Seder and Mahdi al-Abbasi the secretary of Fatah movement in Jerusalem Shadi Mtawwer and the Palestinian youths Rami al-Fakhouri Jehad Qaws Mahmoud Abdullatif Jamil al-Abbasi Hamza Zaghir and Mohyee Abu Asab.
The Jerusalemite activist Asia Abu Sneineh also received a 15-day ban after she was arrested on Sunday at Bab al-Amud. She was accused of disturbing public order at al-Aqsa Mosque.
