111 Israeli settlers defile al-Aqsa Mosque

Tuesday 17-July-2018

Scores of Israeli settlers and policemen broke into al-Aqsa Mosque Tuesday morning.

Spokesman for Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Department Feras al-Dibs said that Israeli police allowed 110 settlers to break into al-Aqsa Mosque via al-Maghareba Gate and roam its courtyards.

Al-Dibs told Quds Press that an Israeli archeologist accompanied the settlers in their tour under the protection of Israeli police forces.

The settlers further performed Talmudic rituals near the Dome of the Rock.

Israeli police on a daily basis escort Israeli settlers during two rounds of incursions into the holy site: in the morning and the afternoon.

In a related context Israeli Intelligence Service ordered al-Aqsa guard Bayan al-Sheikh to appear on Wednesday at al-Qashla detention center for interrogation.

Al-Aqsa Mosque’s servant Najwa al-Shakhshir was also interrogated at the headquarters of Israeli Intelligence on Tuesday morning.
