At least 130 Palestinians were injured as clashes broke out late Thursday evening in Issawiya and Silwan towns in Occupied Jerusalem.
The clashes which continued till dawn hours on Friday erupted when police forces stormed the towns amid heavy firing of teargas bombs.
Medical sources reported 17 rubber bullet injuries 11 skin burns 13 bruises 2 fractures and 95 teargas suffocation cases.
An Israeli soldier was also injured during the events.
Earlier Thursday a general strike was declared in Issawiya town in protest at the Israeli growing demolition and displacement policy against the people of Jerusalem.
At least one third of all Palestinian homes in Occupied Jerusalem lack building permits potentially placing more than 100000 residents at risk of displacement according to OCHA.
Local NGOs and rights groups have long pointed to a range of Israeli practices and policies in Jerusalem aimed at altering the demographic ratio in favor of Jews.
