20 Palestinian minors being held in the Israeli Damon jail suffer from very difficult incarceration conditions and deliberate neglect.
The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs described the section where those teenagers are being held as “unfit for human life.”
They are held in rooms infested with insects and rates lacking ventilation and lighting smelling foul and containing bathrooms with no doors according to the Commission.
Those teens are also deprived of hot water and other vital needs while the yard they use for their daily walk is a narrow passage outside the rooms.
