Palestinian schools have been perpetually under the Israeli attacks and threats. Over the past 14 years Israel has bombed or demolished Palestinian schools especially with every aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip violating the international law.
Meanwhile West Bank schools were severely affected by Israel’s systematic policy of demolishing Palestinian properties and structures in favor of settlement expansion.
The Palestinian Information Center estimated that up to 530 Palestinian schools have been destroyed or damaged by Israel in occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip over the course of the last 14 years.
