Palestinian Authority (PA) president Mahmoud Abbas on Sunday flew to Turkey on a three-day official visit.
Abbas is scheduled to meet with Turkish president Recep Erdogan premier Binali Yildirim and parliament speaker Ismail Kahraman.
Palestinian ambassador in Ankara Fayed Mustafa said Abbas would lay a wreath at the tomb of Mustafa Ataturk the founder of the Republic of Turkey.
Mustafa added that the president would discuss with his Turkish counterpart and other officials the developments in the Palestinian arena and explore avenues of promoting the relations between the PA and Turkey.
