Spokesman for the Palestinian Authority president Nabil Abu Rudeineh has said that the present stage requires crystal clear Palestinian and Arab positions to confront the dangers threatening the Palestinian cause warning that the current battle over Jerusalem will determine the shape of the region in the near and distant future.
In a press release on Saturday Abu Rudeineh stated that president Mahmoud Abbas would highlight in his address to the UN Security Council next Tuesday his vision of peace and the issue of Occupied Jerusalem.
“The president’s speech will be a message to the whole world stating that justice peace and land are the only way to a secure and stable Middle East and a prosperous world free from all forms of reprehensible and denounced terrorism” the spokesman said.
