Palestinian lawyer and human rights activist Salah Abdulati on Sunday affirmed that the Great March of Return is a purely peaceful event that calls for bringing international resolutions into force especially Resolution 194 which stipulates the return of Palestinian refugees to their homes from which they were displaced in 1948.
Abdulati said in an exclusive interview with the PIC that Gaza’s March of Return will first start as a series of sit-ins against the US and Israeli policies aimed at liquidating the Palestinian refugees issue.
He added that this march serves as a pressure on the Israeli occupation and is intended to bring the Palestinian cause back to the forefront of the media political and diplomatic arenas.
The Palestinian activist warned the Israeli occupation against using violence against the Palestinians who will be protesting peacefully near the border fence with the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
