Political bureau member of Hamas Khalil al-Hayya stressed on Tuesday the group’s support for Saudi Arabia in the face of American oppression.
Speaking in statements transmitted by the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc al-Hayya said Hamas sympathizes with Saudi Arabia in its struggle against the U.S. oppressive policies and blackmailing.
He added that Hamas has been striving to boost bilateral ties with Iran “beyond sectarianism.”
The Hamas leader reiterated the movement’s adoption of a policy of non-interference as regards Egypt’s home affairs and its attempts to develop fraternity bonds between the Egyptians and the Palestinians.
According to al-Hayya Egypt has been duped by counterfeit pieces of information weaved by the Israeli occupation and other pro-Israel parties.
