Al-MurabitunCommission (a peaceful pro-Aqsa group) in Occupied Jerusalem has warned of direconsequences resulting from the Israeli decision to increase the daily hoursgiven for settlers to tour the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards.
In a pressrelease on Tuesday head of the commission Yousef Mukhaimar strongly denounced thedecision that was announced by the Israeli police in Jerusalem describing itas a serious escalation against the Aqsa Mosque.
Mukhaimar accusedthe Israeli government of persistently seeking to divide the Aqsa Mosquetemporally and spatially between Muslims and Jews holding it fully responsiblefor any tension that may result from this decision.
Heappealed to Jordanian King Abdullah bin al-Hussein to immediately move to dissuadeIsrael from taking such step at the Aqsa Mosque.
