The Islamic-Christian Committee in Support of Jerusalem and its Sanctuaries condemned on Monday the decision of Israeli Magistrate Court to allow Jewish settlers to perform Talmudic rituals in the Al-Aqsa’s courtyards terming it a blatant violation of the Islamic holy sites.
The Islamic-Christian Committee said in a press statement that such a decision provokes the feelings of Muslims all over the world warning that this decision aims at changing the status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“The Israeli courts doesn’t have any authority to supervise the affairs of the Al-Aqsa Mosque” the committee confirmed adding that Israel must be held responsible for the repercussions of this decision.
The committee also called on Arab and Muslim countries to assume their responsibility and defend Al-Aqsa Mosque at all costs stressing the importance of preserving the identity of the Islamic holy sites.
