Senior Hamas official Shaker Amara has strongly denounced the Palestinian Authority (PA) leadership for using a language full of threats and incitement against the besieged population in the Gaza Strip.
In press remarks on Saturday Amara said that such language would serve the Israeli occupation and its measures against Gaza and would have negative impacts on the Palestinian people at home and abroad.
He described the language of threat that was used by some officials in the West Bank against Gaza and its steadfast people as “a reflection of political failure and bankruptcy.”
“The only solution for addressing all issues can be achieved through sitting at the dialog table and being honest and responsible because the policy of threats is unacceptable” the Hamas official underscored.
“Today we are facing a major challenge and being balanced when addressing outstanding issues is a big responsibility that should be shouldered by all. People from all political spectra reject the language of reckless threat that would take us backwards and serve only the occupation and its lackeys” he added.
