Armed clashes broke out overnight between PA security forces and unknown gunmen in Balata refugee camp east of the northern West Bank province of Nablus.
The clashes erupted in protest against the PA forces’ repeated raids into the refugee camp.
Earlier this week PA forces twice stormed the camp and tried to arrest “wanted” persons.
During the confrontation the angry protesters closed the southern entrance to the camp with burning tires while firing heavy barrage of shots into the air.
