Asra Media Office has accused the Israeli prison service (IPS) of fueling the tensions in its jails by persisting in its provocative measures against the Palestinian prisoners warning that the jailers are dealing hysterically with the situation.
According to the Media Office Israeli forces stormed section 10 of Eshel jail where Hamas inmates are being held and carried out provocative and violent searches in the cells.
In the Negev jail special forces broke into and ransacked the Hamas prisoners’ cells in section 5 wreaking havoc on everything belonging to them.
Soldiers also violently raided other cells belonging to Hamas in sections 21 22 and 23 of the Negev jail. There are a few prisoners in those cells from Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front.
An informed source told Asra Media Office that a prisoner attempted to stab a soldier during the raid on section 22 in the Negev jail.
