Badran calls for backing ex-detainees demanding financial rights

Hamas spokesman Husam Badran has called on the Palestinian people from all spectra to actively support the ex-detainees who have been challenging for days in Ramallah city the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) decision to deprive them of their monthly payments.

“The insistence of ex-detainees whose salaries have been cut off on continuing their sit-in for the 19th day in central Ramallah confirms that they have a just demand” Badran stated in a press release on Thursday.

“The Palestinian people’s rallying around them (Ramallah sit-inners) would bring back their rights despite those who are trying to liquidate their cause” the spokesman said.

The spokesman also hailed the sit-inners’ steadfaness in the face of the injustice being inflicted upon them describing their position as “supportive for the entire issue of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.”

Badran also saluted all the activists national figures and journalists who visited and sympathized with the protesters and contributed to highlighting their suffering calling for more solidarity visits to their sit-in tent in Ramallah.
