Member of the Hamas Political Bureau Husam Badran on Wednesday said that contacts with Fatah movement are in full swing to remove any obstacle likely to impede achieving Palestinian reconciliation.
Badran said in an interview with Palestine newspaper that there is no justification for postponing the meeting of the Provisional Leadership Framework of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) because it will help to adopt strong positions against the recent US Jerusalem move and the Israeli settlement projects.
Badran added that Hamas is working with all Palestinian parties as well as the Egyptian authorities to accelerate the implementation of what was agreed upon in the previous reconciliation meetings to help alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
