Representative of Hamas in Lebanon Ali Baraka on Tuesday met with Palestinian ambassador Ashraf Dabbour at the embassy in Beirut and discussed with him the latest developments in the Palestinian arena.
The two sides talked about the Egyptian efforts to bridge the gap between Hamas and Fatah and its success in achieving that and agreed on the importance of the Palestinian reconciliation as an Arab interest and a natural gateway to strengthening the national unity and arranging the internal Palestinian house.
They also stressed the legitimacy of the Palestinian struggle for liberation from the Israeli occupation.
Baraka also discussed with the ambassador the situation in the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon and the need to protect their security and stability and promote the mutual relations between Palestine and Lebanon.
