Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum has accused the government of Rami al-Hamdallah in Ramallah of repeatedly issuing statements that tell lies and deceive the public opinion about the Gaza Strip.
“The government of al-Hamdallah is trying to cover up its major role in besieging the Gaza Strip and it finds enjoyment in seeing our people in the Strip suffer and incites the occupation to continue its siege” Barhoum stated on Tuesday commenting on the government’s latest statement on Gaza.
“Its irresponsible role in dealing with initiatives that find solutions to the problems of the Gaza Strip and threatening any company transporting Qatari-funded fuel [to Gaza] are the biggest evidence of its shameful involvement in undermining the elements of our people’s steadfastness in the face of the occupation’s plots” the spokesman underlined.
He stressed that “the government of Hamdallah is no longer qualified nationally and professionally to run the Palestinian affairs or trusted to protect the people.”
