The statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid about giving Israeli occupation forces a free hand to shoot Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank emphasize the Israeli insistence on committing further systematic crimes against the Palestinian people Hamas spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum said in a statement issued Thursday.
Barhoum said that the Israeli remarks amount to an official acknowledgment by the Israeli occupation government of the cold-blooded crimes committed by its soldiers across occupied Palestine.
He further warned the Israeli leaders against continuing such despicable measures.
This requires the international community to assume its responsibility and hold Israeli leaders accountable for their heinous crimes against the Palestinian people and their homeland and holy sites he stressed saying that such atrocities will not dissuade the Palestinian people from continuing their resistance against the Israeli occupation until they regain their rights to liberation return and self-determination.
