Spokesman of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas Fawzi Barhoum slammed the member of Fatah Movement’s Central Committee Mahmoud al-Aloul for his remarks with regard to Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas’s punitive measures against Gaza calling his remarks irresponsible.
In a press statement on Thursday Barhoum affirmed that Aloul’s remarks go in line with Israeli offensive practices against the blockaded Gaza Strip. Furthermore Aloul’s statements run contrary to his talks on achieving reconciliation and internal unity Barhoum highlighted.
Aloul had earlier justified during a meeting with reporters in Gaza Abbas’s punitive measures against the Gazan people; while at the same time claimed that his Movement is seeking to achieve national unity.
