Ibda’a Cultural Center in al-Deheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem organized on Tuesday a sit-in in solidarity with the Palestinian female prisoners in Israeli jails.
According to a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) dozens of Palestinian citizens including families of prisoners children and female activists participated in the solidarity event.
During the sit-in activists and children carried Palestinian flags pictures of female prisoners and placards supporting them.
Several speeches were also delivered by participants who called for necessarily supporting the Palestinian women being held in Israeli prisons activating their issue and making efforts to pressure for their release.
