Two Palestinian young men were hit with rubber-coated bullets fired by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Kafr Kaddum town in Qalqilia to quell a protest march on Friday afternoon.
IOF soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and teargas canisters at the marchers wounding the two youths and causing suffocation to dozens others.
The march which started after the Friday prayer continue on weekly basis to demand the re-opening of the village’s main road that was closed by the IOF for the past 18 years.
Meanwhile a 20-year-old youth was hit with shrapnel of live bullets in Nabi Saleh village to the north west of Ramallah also on Friday afternoon during IOF quelling of the townspeople peaceful march.
Similar confrontations were reported in various other areas in the West Bank as Palestinian citizens organized demonstrations to protest the increasing Israeli settlement drive and stealing of their land while demanding an escalation in resistance to such practices.
