A Palestinian child died on Saturday evening from wounds he sustained in August after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces while taking part in the Great March of Return.
Spokesman for Gaza Ministry of Health Ashraf al-Qedra said that Suhaib Abu Kashef 16 died at the European Hospital in Gaza from serious wounds he sustained on 3rd August east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Abu Kashef’s death brought the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation army since the start of the Great March of Return on 30th March to 188 28 of whom are children.
The Great March of Return mainly calls for breaking Gaza siege and allowing Palestinian refugees to return to their lands from which they were expelled in 1948 as stipulated by UN resolutions particularly Resolution 194 which provides for return or compensation.
