Violent confrontations broke out on Thursday night after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) erected several military checkpoints in Arraba town in Jenin further restricting the movement of Palestinian citizens.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF soldiers deployed in large numbers in Arraba installed makeshift barriers and searched Palestinian vehicles.
In response dozens of Palestinian youths threw stones at the IOF soldiers who showered them with tear gas grenades.
