Clashes burst out on Sunday evening after the Israeli occupation forces stormed Jenin’s western town of Rumana and attacked Palestinian protesters.
Reporting from Jenin province in the northern West Bank a PIC news correspondent said clashes rocked Rumana town where the heavily-armed Israeli soldiers attacked Palestinian anti-occupation youth with heavy spates of bullet fire and teargas canisters resulting in injuries.
Israeli soldiers have also been spotted near the main entrance to Rumana’s charitable trust where Palestinian civilians have been made to endure intensive questioning.
A number of Palestinian young men have also been detained by the occupation army.
At the same time the occupation soldiers ravaged the homes of the Palestinian citizens Hesham Hamdan and Naser Abu Bakr in Rumana before they came down heavily on the residents.
Meanwhile Palestinian vehicles and civilians lined up at the main entrance to the town after the Israeli army blocked access out of and into the area.
