Violent clashes broke out between the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and dozens of Palestinian citizens who were taking part in the weekly demonstration of Kafr Qaddum village east of Qalqilya.
Local sources told the PIC reporter that the IOF soldiers were deployed in large numbers in the village and when the demonstrators finished their Friday prayer they were attacked with sound bombs and teargas canisters.
Dozens of Palestinians took part in Kafr Qaddum’s demonstration which is launched on a weekly basis against Israel’s settlement activity in the village.
Other clashes were witnessed in Beit Furik and Kafr Qalil east and south of Nablus respectively after several IOF patrols stormed the towns in the afternoon according to eyewitnesses.
