Violent clashes burst out on Saturday evening between Palestinian protesters and the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Jerusalem’s Silwan town to the south of the holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
Palestinian activist Fakhri Diab said on Facebook that violent clashes flared up in Ein al-Lawza neighborhood in Silwan after the Israeli forces closed Palestinians’ commercial shops and prevented passengers from parking their vehicles the area.
The occupation forces further closed off the main access roads to the area turning it into a military barrack.
