Dozens of Palestinian employees gathered on Tuesday before the Council of Ministers in Gaza during the cabinet’s first meeting since the government was formed in 2014.
The protesters demanded resolving the current crises in the besieged coastal enclave and ending the issue of salaries which have been cut off since 2007.
The PIC reporter said that families of martyrs and the wounded joined the demonstration along with civil workers in Gaza to demand paying the wages of their children.
The protesters called on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Rami al-Hamdallah to bear their responsibilities for Gaza and to end the crises that resulted from the internal division and the siege.
