Dozens of Palestinian citizens on Friday choked on tear gas fired at them by the Israeli occupation forces who attacked the weekly demonstration in Kafr Qaddoum town east of Qalqilya.
The demonstration protests Israeli seizure of Palestinian land in favor of settlement construction and calls for opening the town’s main road that has been closed for 16 years.
Local sources said that the Israeli forces arrested a Spanish peace activist who was taking part in the march and wounded dozens of Palestinian protesters by heavily firing tear gas canisters stun grenades and rubber-coated metal bullets at them.
Meanwhile Israeli occupation forces assaulted Palestinian citizens and foreign activists during olive harvest in Burin village south of Nablus.
