Dozens of Palestinian and foreign activists suffered from their exposure to tear gas after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Khallet al-Dabaa village in Masafer Yatta and quelled a weekly solidarity rally.
Local official Rateb al-Jabour said that the IOF intensively fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades at participants in a march held in solidarity with the Khallet al-Dabaa villagers who are threatened with displacement.
Jabour added that dozens of Palestinian and foreign activists participated in the march carrying Palestinian flags and chanting national slogans before the IOF attacked them.
Meanwhile the IOF kidnaped a local resident called Sa’eid Awad during the same event as he was standing on his own land in the village.
In a separate incident a horde of extremist Jewish settlers from the illegal outpost of Havat Ma’on set fire to olive trees belonging to Palestinian citizens from at-Tuwani village in Masafer Yatta.
