Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Friday during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in different areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
In Nablus several confrontations were witnessed in Beita and Beit Dajan villages during protests against the settlements and in support of the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
Palestinian ambulance crews dealt with more than 70 injuries during the confrontations 5 injuries by rubber-coated metal bullets and 63 injuries by tear gas while three fell and got injured during the IOF chase of the protesters the head of the ambulance services in Nablus Ahmed Jibril said in a press statement.
In Qalqilya one injury by rubber-coated metal bullet and other injuries by tear gas were reported after confrontations with IOF soldiers in Kafr Qaddum.
In Ramallah IOF fired tear gas at the protesters in Mughair village several injuries were reported.
In al-Khalil IOF suppressed the weekly protest against the settlement in Tuwana village. IOF soldiers assaulted the protesters foreign activists and pressmen and a woman was injured. They also fired tear gas at the protesters and a dozen injuries were reported.
IOF soldiers raided Beit Ummar village in northern al-Khalil and fired stun grenades and tear gas at the youths and several injuries were reported.
Other confrontations were reported in Huwara checkpoint in southern Nablus and in Abu Dis village in eastern Jerusalem.
