Dozens injured in Nablus weekly marches

A number of Palestinians were injured on Friday when Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed the anti-occupation weekly marches in Hawara Beita and Beit Dajan towns in Nablus in the northern West Bank.

A Palestinian suffered foot injuries after being hit with a sound bomb while two others were sprayed with pepper gas during Hawara clashes medical sources revealed.

Two other rubber-coated metal bullet injuries and dozens of suffocation cases were reported in Beita town the sources added.

Two Palestinian protesters were wounded by live bullets 21 others suffered from teargas inhalation cases while one protester suffered burns in Beit Dajan to the east of the city.

Palestinian towns and villages in Nablus are subjected to almost daily attacks by Jewish settlers under IOF protection.
