The PIC reporter said that clashes flared up in different areas of Nablus province where the IOF heavily fired sound bombs tear gas canisters and rubber bullets at the Palestinian citizens.

Eyewitnesses told the PIC reporter that the IOF closed Beita town’s entrance to the south of Nablus city with cement blocks and prevented movement in both directions.

They added that the IOF soldiers stationed at the entrance arrested a Palestinian child whose identity is not known yet and took him to an unknown destination.

Local sources said that several IOF patrols broke into Beit Furik town to the east of Nablus city and clashed with Palestinian youths amid heavy firing of metal and live bullets and tear gas canisters.

The sources pointed out that the IOF closed Beit Furik’s entrance blocked the movement of Palestinian vehicles and prevented ambulances from entering the town to provide first aid to the injured.

According to eyewitnesses the Israeli soldiers detained a group of Palestinian youths near the entrance after handcuffing and blindfolding them.
