Dozens of Israeli settlers break into Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Israeli settlers entered the holy Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning under tight Israeli police guard.

The ministry of Awkaf and religious affairs in Ramallah said that 35 settlers and 8 students entered the holy Islamic site.

It also pointed out that the Israeli authority controlling the so-called “Western Wall Tunnels” has decided to open the tunnels for settlers entering the Aqsa Mosque for the first time after five months of closure.

Scores of Jewish settlers on Monday forced their way into al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under tight police guard.

Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Department said that Israeli police forces allowed dozens of settlers to enter al-Aqsa Mosque in the morning.

The Israeli police forces accompanied the settlers as they toured the site while receiving presentations on the alleged “Temple Mount”.

The Israeli occupation police on Monday morning allowed dozens of Jewish settlers to storm al-Aqsa Mosque amid tight restrictions on Palestinian worshipers.

Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Council said that 36 Israeli settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning and toured its courtyards while receiving presentations on the alleged “Temple Mount”.

Meanwhile tight restrictions were imposed on the Palestinian worshipers visiting the mosque. Many of them were ordered to stay away from the site for various periods.

Scores of extremist settlers on Wednesday forced their way into al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem under Israeli police guard.

Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Council said in a brief statement that 60 Jewish settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours while accompanied by a large police force.

Meanwhile restrictions were tightened on the Palestinian worshipers entering the mosque and many of them were ordered to return or stay away from the site.

Israeli settlers every day except Fridays and Saturdays carry out mass break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli police forces in two rounds: in the morning and afternoon.

Dozens of Israeli settlers break into Aqsa Mosque

Hordes of Israeli settlers on Monday stormed al-Aqsa Mosque while escorted by the Israeli police and special forces.

Local sources reported that 35 settlers defiled al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours and performed Talmudic rituals near Bab al-Rahma prayer area before they left the site hours later.

The sources said that 43 Jewish students from religious institutes stormed the holy site during the same period.

The Islamic Awqaf announced in a statement that the Israeli police earlier in the day arrested a Palestinian old man for praying in Bab al-Rahma area and transferred him to a nearby interrogation center.

Other groups of settlers are set to come for a second break-in following noon prayer.

The Israeli settlers carry out mass break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis except on Fridays and Saturdays in two rounds: in the morning and afternoon.

Hordes of Israeli settlers on Monday morning broke into al-Aqsa Mosque amid heavy presence of Israeli police forces.

Media sources said quoting Jerusalem’s Islamic Awqaf Department that the Israeli police allowed 37 settlers to enter al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours.

It added that 25 Jewish students of religious institutes and Hebrew universities as well as 21 Israeli police and intelligence officers defiled the Mosque during the same period.

In a related context the Israeli police on Sunday decided to ban a Palestinian woman from entering al-Aqsa Mosque for two weeks after detaining and interrogating her for hours.
