Dozens of Jewish settlers escorted by police forces stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.

The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf (religious endowments) affirmed that dozens of settlers entered the Mosque in different groups through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards.

During their tours the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers.

Meanwhile the Israeli police forces imposed tight restrictions on Palestinian worshipers’ access into the Mosque’s entrances and gates.

Hordes of Jewish settlers escorted by a large police force on Tuesday morning desecrated al-Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources said that about 90 Israeli settlers defiled al-Aqsa Mosque in the early morning hours and roamed its courtyards.

Heavily armed police officers accompanied the settlers as they toured the site and performed Talmudic rituals.

Settlers break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque are witnessed on almost a daily basis and they are usually accompanied by tight entry restrictions on Palestinian worshipers.
