Palestinian lawyers poets and unionists affirmed on Saturday the continuation of solidarity events with Palestinian hunger striking detainees in Israeli jails in different forms.
They opined that the hunger strike has entered a new stage that requires new strategies following its 20th day.
In a solidarity sit-in that was held in Jenin city on Saturday Palestinian lawyers called for prosecuting Israeli authorities if they went ahead with their declared intention to force-feed the hunger strikers.
Nine participants went on hunger strike inside the solidarity sit-in tent. The activists participating in the hunger strike alternate fasting among them every four days.
British solidarity activists as well as delegations from 1948 Occupied Palestine expressed their support for the ongoing solidarity action with prisoners.
