The families of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul the two Israeli soldiers held captive in Gaza asked US special envoy to the Middle East Jason Greenblatt to work on preventing any move to improve or alleviate the humanitarian situation in Gaza before releasing their sons.
The families of Goldin and Shaul met on Thursday with Greenblatt in Occupied Jerusalem. They had already met with him in recent weeks according to the Hebrew media.
The families called for making the freedom of their son in exchange for pledges to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The family of soldier Goldin in particular claimed its son had been captured during the ceasefire that was sponsored by the former US administration and the UN although his captors had asserted he was held during the war.
The Israeli occupation army also affirmed the soldier went missing during the 2014 war on Gaza.
