Violent clashes burst out on Thursday evening between the Israeli occupation forces and Palestinian anti-occupation youth in Nablus’s southern town of Beit Furik in the northern occupied West Bank.
Speaking with a PIC news correspondent eye-witnesses said Israeli soldiers targeted Palestinian protesters who flocked to Jabal al-Ka’da in Beit Furik with randomly-unleashed barrages of teargas canisters.
No injuries have been reported yet in the raging clashes.
At the same time Israeli army patrols tightened military grip near Hawara checkpoint.
The Palestinian anti-occupation protesters responded to the Israeli aggression by hurling stones and empty bottles at the heavily-armed occupation troops.
