Four Palestinian prisoners have continued their open-ended hunger strike on Thursday in protest at the different Israeli policies that violate their freedom and human rights.
Prisoner Fikri Mansour from 1948 Occupied Palestine continues his hunger strike for the 12th day in a row in protest at his transfer to the criminal detainees’ section in Ayalon prison. He has been detained since 2005 and is serving a 17-year sentence in Israeli prisons.
Meanwhile prisoner Moataz Obeido who suffers from paralysis is on a hunger strike for the 21st day in a row in protest at the Israeli policy of medical negligence.
Moreover prisoner Khalil Al-Awawdeh continues his hunger strike for the 133rd day after resuming it a week ago while Raed Rayan continues his hunger strike for the 98th day in a row to demand an end to their administrative detention orders.
Families of hunger striking prisoners organized sit-ins calling on human rights institutions to pressure Israel to release their sons immediately and stop the violations against them.
Since the start of 2022 the Israeli occupation authority has escalated issuing administrative detention orders against Palestinian prisoners.
