Gaza: Relatives visit 13 prisoners in Eshel jail

Several families of Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip were able to visit their relatives in an Israeli jail on Tuesday morning with the help of the Red Cross.

According to Red Cross spokeswoman Suhair Zaqqout 18 members of Gazan families including two children left Gaza aboard a bus through the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing to visit 13 relatives detained in Eshel jail.

The Israeli occupation authority in coordination with the Red Cross allows visits for the families of prisoners in the jails of Nafha and Ramon every Monday and the families of prisoners in Eshel jail every Tuesday.

However the families of prisoners who are affiliated with Hamas are not allowed to visit their sons.
