Gaza’s Ministry of Health on Saturday evening announced the death of a Palestinian youth who was injured on Monday after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces while taking part in the Great Return March protests along Gaza’s eastern border.
Spokesman for the Ministry Ashraf al-Qedra told Quds Press that Ahmad Abu Samra 21 died from wounds he sustained while participating in the protests east of Jabalia refugee camp.
Abu Samra died hours after two Palestinians were proclaimed dead after they succumbed to wounds they sustained on the same reported day.
Abu Samra’s death brought the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army on Monday while protesting the US embassy transfer to Jerusalem to 65 8 of whom are children.
At least 120 Palestinians have been killed and over 12000 injured since the Great Return March was launched in Gaza on 30th March to demand the right of return for refugees and call for lifting the blockade on Gaza.
